Reewynd is built as a lean-back experience and never asks for names, emails, or billing information. The only information generated inside the app is technical and feature-specific.
Any telemetry we collect is strictly technical and anonymized; we never link crash logs or usage data back to identities.
- Continue watching history (title, playback URL, resume position, timestamps) is stored locally via Room/SQLite and is not synced, shared, or sold.
- Device diagnostics (OS version, crash trace, locale) may be shared in anonymized crash reports so we can keep the player stable.
- Configuration details such as preferred subtitles, video quality, and UI theme are persisted locally to keep your settings intact.

Continue watching history powers the resume rail and keeps your place in the story without ever leaving the device.
Diagnostics and anonymous usage data help us fix issues fast; we do not combine that data with marketing or advertising partners.
Third-Party Services
Reewynd depends on external providers for catalog metadata, artwork, and playback. Each service handles data according to its own privacy practices, and we only pass the minimum technical details needed for the service to work.
When you search or stream, these providers may log your IP address and other technical metadata; we do not supplement those logs with personal identifiers.
Data Storage & Security
All persisted data lives on your device and is protected by Android's secure storage layers; nothing is transmitted back to us unless you explicitly export it.
We regularly trim the continue watching database to the most recent 50 entries to keep storage lean and performant.
- Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app permanently removes the watch history stored in Room/SQLite.
- We rely on up-to-date platform security patches and isolated sandboxes so other apps cannot access Reewynd's local data.
User Rights & Choices
You can request a copy of the information we retain about your device (watch history, diagnostics) by contacting the privacy team listed below.
To delete data, clear the app storage or uninstall Reewynd; this removes every locally stored history entry immediately.

- Opt out of optional crash reporting through your device or Google Play settings if you prefer not to share diagnostics.
